05/22/12 METAPHOR ALERT
I guess there was a movie entitled, Fatal Attraction, in 1987. Riding on that title, Animal Planet TV has a program entitled, Fatal Attractions. This program highlights human obsessions with dangerous animals, which can and sometimes do kill their caregivers.
Likewise, Christians can be attracted to people, activities, beliefs, entertainments, relationships, habits, recreations, jobs and other things that can and often do prove to be MORALLY, SPIRITUALLY and RELATIONALLY FATAL.
These folks align themselves with their fatal attractions, in spite of warnings and wise counsel. At the end of these Animal Planet episodes we shake our heads and say, "How stupid can you be?"
Don't be the victim of BEING STUPID.
Take counsel while you can still break off FATAL ATTRACTIONS.
