05/23/12 AVOID TEMPTATION
God also says there is NO temptation (not one, not any) that we cannot escape. God enable us to NOT SIN. I only have to escape one temptation at a time (by God's enabling grace) thereby escaping all sinful activity at that moment.
God does not LEAD US INTO temptation, He LEADS US AWAY from temptation and He DELIVERS US FROM (the) evil (one).
Still, the choice is ours.
Luke 11:4
(4) ... And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
1 Corinthians 10:13
(13) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
2 Timothy 4:18
(18) And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1 John 2:1
(1) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

(24) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
