07/31/12 SAY WHAT?
I can ask a person (for instance), "Did you put the tool on the worktable?"
They respond by saying,
"George said you cancelled the project." (This does not answer the question, but I suspect the answer is, "No").
At this point my mind says, "Say what?" because I did not ask about George or the cancellation of a project.
It is at times like these I say,
"Did George say that the project was cancelled?" (in hopes that they will then give me the answer to the other question).
But you know what? They never get it. They usually look at me as if I am on drugs, for asking such a stupid and unrelated question.
Just think about it.
