06/17/12 TRAGIC REALITY
Have you ever noticed that a disbelief in God's instantaneous work of grace, entire sanctification (the complete cleansing from all sin in this present life, through faith in the finished work of Christ), coupled with a belief in "progressive" sanctification, or the ongoing "process" of sanctification (through human endeavor) never attains to, or obtains purity of heart?
Have you ever noticed that those who deny God's instantaneous work of grace, entire sanctification, often label total surrender to God as "legalism," yet they refer to their human efforts and struggles with the "flesh," as, "living by grace?"
It would be funny if it was not so tragic.
