I was thinking, what if you woke up some morning and realized the overwhelming presence of God, which caused you to worship Him in the beauty of holiness, resulting in Him filling you with His power to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh; and His leading was so obvious that you avoided most temptations and you escaped whatever temptations you could not avoid.
NOW, what if you found yourself in the uncomfortable position of being asked by someone if you had sinned that day? Would you honestly say no, thus making yourself look self righteous or would you lie, so that you would look "Christian?"
The silly part is not that you lived without sin, but that you would feel guilty about it and then you lie about it.
(Actually a barometric change suddenly fills the room, because people gasp at the prospect of not sinning and then they give a great sigh of relief when they realize that their theology does not allow for holiness of heart and life).
