05/18/12 STOP, DON'T, COME BACK.

I asked what movie character spoke the line, "Stop, don't, come back."

As you know, Mike was about to shrink himself through the Wonkavision, and Willy Wonka said, in a monotone, with NO excitement or horror at the prospect, "Stop, don't, come back."

Sometimes when I "cry aloud and spare not," I feel like I am having no more impact on people than Willy Wonka and his useless warning.

Unhappily, the consequences are real. It was so simple for the Israelites in the wilderness, when they were bitten by the snakes: "Look and Live."

If only we could get them to LOOK.
