04/12/12 NEVER QUITE ENOUGH

04/12/12 NEVER QUITE ENOUGH

It is strange.
Those who deny that God
1. instantaneously perfects believers in love,
2- instantaneously purifies their hearts from all sin and
3- instantaneously empowers them to walk in holiness by resisting temptation,
Claim instead that they believe in progressive sanctification. Yet they never progress beyond carnality.

The very things that God does by an act of grace cannot be accomplished by a lifetime of human effort. Even if we reduced our "sinfulness" by half, every time we "progressed in sanctification," we would never be holy, pure or righteous, because we would alway be separated by one more step. God's saving grace does it all. Don't miss out on this wonderful truth.

I realize some people agree with this post (and I appreciate your "like"). I realize some people disagree. I also realize some people either are not sure about deliverance from all sin in this present evil world or have never heard about the victorious Christian life.

Few preachers are going to tell their parishioners about purity from all sin and power over all temptation, which comes with the infilling of the Holy Spirit. In fact, most preachers will call this Biblical truth a lie.

It is sad that so many believers who struggle with inward corruption (carnal mind, double mindedness, the old man, etc.) are not even going to explore the possibilities of the life of
walking (living) in the Spirit;
walking (living) in the light, as He is in the light; and
walking (living) in a way that is pleasing unto God.

Most churches would be benefited greatly by having a yearly Holiness Seminar scheduled, along with their Missions Conference and Revival/Evangelistic Meetings.
