06/29/12 WHY JESUS CAME
It does not say that He came to save us from being tempted.
It does not say to save us from weaknesses or infirmities.
It does not say to save us from our suffering and affliction.
It does not say to save us from our free will.
However, He not only saves us from the penalty of sin, He saves us from the penalty, the power and the pollution of sin, in this present evil world.
The whole Bible bears witness to this truth.
