From R C Sproul Jr., The Kingdom Notes: Five Evangelical Myths or Half Truths.
Sproul says that it is a myth to believe that Jesus saves His people from their sins. In fact, Sproul says that we do not need to be saved from our sins, we need to be saved from the wrath due for our sins.
While it is true that Christ saves us from the wrath of God, it is not true that He does not save us from our sins or save us from our sin. In fact, the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin.
