Over the years I have dropped out of various group and private discussions. It was usually with those who SUPPOSEDLY share my theological persuasion. But many of the people do the same thing to my words that they do to Scripture.
1- they leave out what is said,
2- they add what is not said,
3- they change what is said to something different.
This is happening more as the Emergent plague gains momentum. Beware the poisonous bite of the emergent serpents.
The reason I dropped out is because it became an exercise in futility. No matter what I said, no matter how I said it, no matter how many times I said it, they were deaf to what I said.

It is like telling a JW that I don't believe in more than one God.
I explain it, I document it by showing Bible passages, which say there is only one God, and passages that say the Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God, but they are all the same, one, God.
Then they say I believe in more than one God.
Go figure. These people are willfully blind and they will not be convinced by words, even God's word, that they are wrong.
