Six of my grandchildren, between 4 and 9 years old, took turns leading the congregation in one verse of Jesus Loves Me (the same verse each time). If your child was here, he/she could have done it too.
They ask questions, share praise, request prayer, interact with me and the message during service.
I am building with gold, silver and precious stones.
THERE AIN'T NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT. AND I DON'T PREACH NO BABY STUFF TO THEM. (Bad grammar, great theology).
It is a big mistake to present the gospel and teach the Bible to children in a way that makes the Bible seem to be no more than children's stories or fairy tales. God has designed children so that they can grasp great truths and apply them to their lives.

If we predigest the Scriptures for them, they will never get the life giving substance. This is part of the reason young people leave the church when they get a little older. This is why so many people think that Sunday School and church are for children, rather than for everyone.
