Some of us have Weather Alert apps, that alert and notify concerning watches and warnings of flooding, high winds, tornadoes, air pollution, fires, thunderstorms, excessive heat, fog.
All believers have Attitude and Action Alert watches and warnings concerning,
anger,
judgmentalism,
jealousy,
envy,
suspicion,
lust, deceit, etc.
You can:
1- Ignore,
2- Avoid and/or Prepare, or
3- Chase/Follow the Storm.
TOO FEW DO TWO.
A CHECKLIST...
It would be well worth some time this evening to ask...
How sensitive am I to the Holy Spirit's leading, warning, urging, nudging, convicting and enlightening?
Do I ignore His warnings and watches?
Do I take steps to avoid being caught in an attitude or relational upheaval?
Do I batten down the hatches and put out my big anchor when I see someone else getting ready to unleash a monsoon of meanness against my small vessel?
Have I rid myself of dangerous cargo, that will injure myself or others if it breaks loose in a storm?
Do I actually want to be in the middle of a turbulent encounter?
Remember, to be forewarned is to be forearmed.
