04/24/12 OPENING THE DOOR FOR SODOMITES
If my info is correct, it appears that the City Council of Hutchinson, Kansas is considering action that will force churches, among others, to accommodate Sodomite groups in various ways. This is consistent with the direction this country is going. NOW, if you don't want your blood pressure to go sky high and if you don't want to get upset with me, don't read my comment on the issue of police and military service. ON SECOND THOUGHT, I will spare you the emotional tsunami by waiting to comment. Love y'all. Here is a light version of my response.
THE LIGHT VERSION...
If we are going to take up arms (as private citizens, police, militia or military) claiming to defend the righteous, the innocent and the weak, then we should live by our words.
We should not let some person, some organization, some movement or even some government deter our commitment. If we believe we personally should use carnal force to accomplish good, then we should not sell out or cave in to the enemy.
This is why God gives the sword of steel to the State and the Sword of the Spirit to the Church. God expects loyalty from both the State and the believers who make up Church, and He will either reward or punish each according to their faithfulness. If a person ain't gonna walk it, then he ought not to talk it.
I do not wield the sword of steel against carnal enemies, because that is not the war that Christ calls Christians to fight.
If all believers turned all of our energy against our true enemy, we would accomplish more than we do by either wielding or talking about wielding the sword of steel.
