Many years ago, my father, grandfather, uncle and I watched as my little cousin rolled the three foot length of piling across the dock and then overboard. Immediately after it hit the water he came running toward us yelling, "look what sister did, look what sister did." Eve did it, Adam did it and people of all ages still do it. After doing something they should not do, they immediately and loudly blame others.
CONSIDER
COMPOUNDED SIN...
1- There is the sin of conceiving the act of rebellion.
2- Then the sin of performing the act of rebellion.
3- Then the sin of denying personal guilt.
4- Then the sin of blaming other people for our own behavior.
THE RESULTS OF SIN...
1- The sin corrupts the individual.
2- The sin separates the individual from God.
3- The sin hurts other people.
4- The sin separates the individual from other people.
GOD'S DELIVERANCE FROM SIN...
1- Jesus' death and resurrection provides forgiveness and cleansing form our sins and reconciliation with God.
2- God's grace enables us to reconcile and renew our relationship with those we have injured.
3- The Holy Spirit leads us away from temptation and empowers us to live righteously in this present evil world.
