EVANGELISM & MINISTRY FAIRS.
Two separate weeks focusing on Evangelism & Ministry opportunities in your local church. These two weeks are a mix of Seminar and Job Fair type activities. Evangelism and ministry opportunities are presented, explained and offered to qualified applicants, through inspirational and instructional messages, along with demonstrations, hands-on-workshops and placement counseling.
The messages would address the need; the call of God; the spiritual qualifications required; the tools (skills, abilities, talents and gifts of the Spirit); and the available channels in the local body.
Evangelism could include friendship, street, tract, media, preaching, personal witnessing, etc.
Ministry could include music, youth, seniors, marrieds, singles, parenting, food pantry, visitation, hospital, media (electronic, written, recorded), hospitality, drama, puppetry, art, etc.
The church could increase its work force, expand its outreach and channel new believers into a life of service. This could also be done on a district or conference level.
You may ask if I have done this. No, not yet, but then again, I just thought about it this weekend.
