04/07/12 RESURRECTION LIFE, POWER and LOVE
Just as the Father and the Son did the loving thing concerning their enemies, so we (true Christians) do the loving thing concerning our enemies.
We love our enemy, not because we are bigger than our enemy, but because we realize God loved us when we were His enemy.
We love God and others because God first loved us.
If we do not love our brother, whom we have seen, we do not love God, Whom we have not seen.
Love is not something we work-up because of what we should do, or be, but love is something that wells-up because of what Christ has done and what we have become.
The message of the cross raises the dead, reconciles the separated and restores the lost.
We are called to
Resurrection Life,
Resurrection Power and
Resurrection Love.
