03/12/12 THE ABSURDITY OF SELF DESTRUCTION
A person in diabetic shock refusing emergency treatment.
An alcoholic denying his addiction.
A drowning person rejecting a lifeline.
A starving person refusing food.
A lost traveler avoiding a rescuer.
But I see people whose self centeredness is costing them their joy, their family, their life, their eternal soul, their everything, I see them spurn spiritual counsel and I watch helplessly as they plunge deeper into an abyss of separation and destruction every day.
